NINE INCH NAILS DVD Arrives Today

February 27, 2007

Launch Radio Networks reports: NINE INCH NAILS releases its new live DVD, called "Beside You In Time", today (Tuesday, February 27). The DVD features a complete 19-song NINE INCH NAILS concert, an additional five songs captured live at a later date, videos for "The Hand That Feeds" and "Only", 2005 rehearsal footage of three songs, and an image gallery. This is also the first NINE INCH NAILS DVD to be available in both standard format and the new HD and Blu-Ray configurations, although only the regular edition includes three separate audio mixes in Dolby Digital Stereo, Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS 5.1.

NINE INCH NAILS' new concept album, called "Year Zero", is due out on April 17. A new trailer for the CD has been posted at YearZero.NIN.com.

The band has set up a series of web sites that tie into the album's central storyline. It takes place in the year 2022, when the U.S. has been taken over by a fanatical religious government that may be putting drugs in the nation's water supply while citizens are seeing visions of an entity called "the Presence."

Web sites that tie into the concept include Iamtryingtobelieve.com, anotherversionofthetruth.com, bethehammer.net and uswiretap.com.

Clues about the sites, as well as songs from the album, have been found on computer drives left in venue bathrooms on the band's current European tour. A track called "Into the Twilight" is the latest to pop up.

The first official single from "Year Zero" is called "Survivalism".
